VAPERS project is funded by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) under the K to 12 DARE TO (Discovery-Applied Research and Extension for Trans/Inter-disciplinary Opportunities) Program. This has been carried out by the Resiliency and Sustainable Development Center under the leadership of Prof. Delia B. Senoro who is also the Director for International Research and Development. VAPERS means Vulnerability Assessment and Prompt Emergency Response System for LGU’s Disaster Risks Reduction in the Philippines. VAPERS project is composed of inter-disciplinary team members, with diverse expertise within the areas of environmental engineering, environmental factors and health, industrial systems engineering, information technology, network systems engineering, civil engineering, GIS mapping, chemical engineering, biological engineering, educators, biologist, public health, and closely cooperate with local government units and agencies.
