Mapúan filmmaker puts up film for free viewing, asks donations for medical frontliners

Award-winning Mapúan filmmaker, Celina Mae Medina, is putting up her film "Ophelia" for free viewing during the enhanced community quarantine period due to COVID-19.

Medina also calls for donations for medical frontliners as support in their fight to save lives against the pandemic.

"May this film be a reminder for everyone to take care of their mental health, as well as their physical health during this difficult time," she said.

"Ophelia" has garnered several recognitions in both local and international film scenes. Last 2019, it was among the featured films in the Cannes Film Festival's Short Film Corner.
