Mapúa University received a bomb threat this morning, October 3, 2019. As a precautionary measure, classes and work were suspended in Intramuros campus at 8:20 a.m. Students and employees were required to vacate the premises. Evacuation was orderly and without incident.

At 10:30 a.m., the Intramuros campus was declared negative from any explosive and hazardous materials by the Philippine National Police Bomb Squad.

Mapúa University has declared Digital Day today to ensure non-disruption of classes. Classes and work will resume tomorrow, October 4, 2019. The University prioritizes the safety of its students and employees and continues to implement its tight security measures to maintain safety and order on its campuses.
