Mapúa University received a bomb threat this morning, September 19, 2019. As a precautionary measure, classes and work have been suspended on both Intramuros and Makati campuses at 9:59 a.m. Students and employees have been required to vacate the premises. Evacuation was orderly and without incident.

At 11:30 a.m., both campuses were declared negative from any explosive and hazardous materials by the Philippine National Police Bomb Squad.

Mapúa University has declared Digital Day today for the students not to miss any classes. Class and work will resume tomorrow, September 20, 2019. The University continues to implement its tight security measures to maintain the safety and order on its campuses.
