Mapúa offers two new joint programs leading to master’s degree in business analytics
Mapúa University is set to offer two new joint programs this coming school year 2019 to 2020: the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy-Master in Business Analytics (BSA-MAN) and the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Master in Business Analytics (BSBA-MAN).
The University’s E.T. Yuchengco School of Business and Management (ETYSBM) and School of Information Technology (SOIT) will run the new joint programs. The schools have collaborated on developing the programs’ curricula, with an intent to share the resources and tools providers of the University’s business and computing programs.
One year is added to the standard bachelor’s degrees for students to earn a graduate degree in business analytics, deemed valuable in today’s globalized corporate environment.
Following the launching of the fully online Master of Engineering in Industrial Engineering (MEP-IE) in 2017, Mapúa started offering Master in Business Analytics (MAN) in April 2018 to address the needs of industries for topnotch data science and analytics practitioners. Both graduate programs released by Mapúa are the first of their kinds in the Philippines.
