Mapúa top-performing school in the May 2019 Civil Engineer boards
Mapúa University has continued its exemplary performance in board examinations, producing topnotchers and emerging as a top-performing school in the May 2019 Civil Engineer Licensure Examination.
Engr. Ralph Christian N. Nono, with a rating of 93.30%, placed sixth, followed by Engr. Jules-Renan A. Montano in seventh with a rating of 93.20%. Engr. Mark Alexander G. Bundang secured the eighth place with a 92.75% rating.
The University posted an overall rating of 80.65%, versus the national passing percentage of 38.25%, emerging as one of the two top-performing schools of the May civil engineering boards.
Mapúa now has a total of 365 board topnotchers across 11 of Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)-administered exams since year 2000. Seventy-three of these numbers are civil engineers.
Established in 1925, Mapúa University is a top-ranking Asian university.Its civil engineering program is one of its 11 undergraduate degrees accredited by US-based ABET’s Engineering Accreditation Commission. The program has also been recently recognized by United Kingdom’s Institution of Civil Engineers, ensuring its graduates their global professional qualification.
