Mapúa appoints new ETYSBM dean, prefect of discipline
Mr. Concordio Quisaot is the new dean of the E.T. Yuchengco School of Business and Management.
Mapúa University recently announced new appointments for the E.T. Yuchengco School of Business and Management (ETYSBM) Dean and Prefect of Discipline positions.
Last January 1, Mr. Concordio Quisaot took over as the dean of ETYSBM, taking responsibility of the School’s development, management, control, and operations. Mr. Quisaot was appointed to the position due to his strong educational and professional background.
After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce major in Accounting, magna cum laude, from the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R), Mr. Quisaot topped the board examination for Certified Public Accountants. He also obtained Bachelor of Laws and Master in Management for Executives and Managers degrees from, and is completing a Doctor in Management degree at USJ-R.
Mr. Quisaot’s work experience includes being a member of the Professional Regulation Commission Board of Accountancy. He also served as comptroller of Eurasia Holiday Resorts Corporation, vice president of Rural Electrification Financing Corporation, and assistant general manager of Cebu Electric Cooperative, Inc., among others.
Meanwhile, Mr. Teem Torres has been appointed as the University’s prefect of discipline. Effective January 21, Mr. Torres oversees Mapúa’s implementation of its student discipline policies and responds to student-related concerns involving decorum, behavior, ethics, and values.
Mr. Teem Torres has been appointed as the University’s new prefect of discipline.
Mr. Torres holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Psychology from Holy Angel University and a Bachelor’s degree in Theology major in Dogmatic Theology and Pastoral Ministry from St. Vincent School of Theology.
He also has 14 years of experience in student affairs and community services, initiating student development programs and community extension projects. He previously worked for Far Eastern University as student affairs and community services section head, and discipline officer, and STI College Guadalupe as guidance counselor and placement officer.
