Mapúa in FINEX inter-collegiate finance competition’s top 20 finalists

Mapúa University was one of the top 20 participants in the preliminary rounds of the 20th Inter-Collegiate Finance Competition (ICFC) hosted by the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX) on October 26, 2018, at the JP Morgan Chase & Company Auditorium in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. The finals competition was held last November 23 at the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP).
The team from Mapúa, composed of fourth year accountancy students Jonghyeon Han, Seth Christian Tejada, Jamie Toriaga, and Grant Mayrielle Zuniga of the University’s E.T. Yuchengco School of Business and Management (ETYSBM), ranked fifth in NCR (National Capital Region), and seventh out of 100 participating schools nationwide in the preliminary competition. Prof. Julian Pilapil was the team’s adviser.
It was the first time that Mapúa University participated in the ICFC.
