Mapúa University entered in a tripartite agreement with Tainan Hydraulics Laboratory of the National Cheng Kung University (THL-NCKU) and Taiwan Water Corporation (TWC) for research collaborations on water-related issues, internships, scholarship programs, and joint seminar-workshops.
TWC is a state-owned water utility and managed by Taiwan Ministry of Economics supplying water to Taiwan (except Taipei City) and offshore islands. Meanwhile, THL is a research facility under NCKU specializing in water hydraulics research and modeling including coastal waters.
The agreement was made through the facilitation of the Office of International Linkages for Research and Development (ILRAD).
