Student advising is an important aspect of the students' experience at Mapúa University.

The Center for Student Advising (CSA) addresses three critical areas in the lives of the students: academic, personal/social, and career. Its programs help students resolve academic, personal, and career concerns so that they can develop a clearer focus to achieve personal as well as academic success.

Student advising is the result of the concerted efforts of Academic Advising, Peer Advising, and Developmental Advising.

CSA has the following objectives:

  1. To assist students in adjusting to college life;
  2. To assist students in developing their academic plans; and
  3. To increase students’ chances of completing their program of study in the shortest time possible.
