Student advising is an important aspect of the undergraduate’s experience at Mapúa University.

The Center for Student Advising (CSA) addresses three critical areas in the lives of the students, namely, (1) academic, (2) personal/social, and (3) career. Its programs help students resolve academic, personal, and career concerns so that they could develop a clearer focus to achieve personal as well as academic success.

Student advising is the result of the concerted efforts of: (1) Academic Advising; (2) Peer Advising; and (3) Developmental Advising.

CSA has the following major objectives:

  1. To assist students in adjusting to college life;
  2. To provide assistance to students in the development of their academic plans; and
  3. To increase students’ chances of completing their program of study in the shortest time possible.
