NON-TEACHING POSITIONS:
CREATIVES SPECIALIST
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading in the designing of the University’s physical and digital creative requirements, upholding the Mapúa brand in both internal and external communications in support of the reputation-building and marketing efforts of the University.
- Leads in the creation of concepts, themes, and storyboards for the University’s creative requirements such as marketing collaterals (View book, brochures, banners, and posters), merchandise, videos and presentations, social media visuals, newsletters, and other communication materials in accordance with the University’s brand identity guidelines.
Qualifications:
- College degree preferably in Multimedia Arts, Communication, Advertising, Marketing, or other related programs.
- Fresh graduate are welcome to apply and/ or 1 year of relevant work experience. with emphasis on marketing, advertising, communications, and events.
CERTIFICATION COORDINATOR
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting, monitoring, and providing feedback and recommendations to ensure compliance to ISO standards of the IMS policies and procedures of the University.
- Provides assistance in monitoring the implementation of the Institutional Development Plan (IDP) in support of the accreditation requirements of the academic programs.
- Provides assistance to the academic and non-academic personnel in the preparation of required documentations before and in the activities being done during accreditation visits.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree holder in Business, Management or Industrial Engineering or other related course.
- With at least two (2) years relevant working experience in an industry with ISO or its equivalent certification.
RESEARCH COORDINATOR
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and facilitates processing of travel needs for outbound researchers and the hosting of inbound researchers;
- Coordinates with international outbound and inbound researchers;
- Facilitates the processing of travel needs for outbound researchers and the hosting of inbound researchers;
- Monitors and maintains records of international outbound and inbound researchers; and activities;
- Coordinates with various schools and departments to encourage research/senior students to conduct research in foreign universities;
- Assists in the organization of events, international symposia, workshops, seminars, conferences, and other related fora involving foreign partners;
- Preparation and processing of posting/announcement of available opportunities at the ILRAD webpage and/or for online information.
Qualifications:
- Holder of any science degree; with relevant MS degree or units related to science or engineering program;
- Attention to details, organizing, resourcing, data gathering, communicating, coordinating, customer service, computer literacy, file management, project coordination;
- Strong written and oral communication skills;
- At least three (3) years of relevant work experiences, with emphasis on coordination, and customer/people oriented tasks.
SECURITY ENGINEER
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all activities involve in installing, configuring, maintaining, and monitoring of network and computer security systems.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a technology-related field.
- At least two (2) years relevant working experience in various information security frameworks and systems.
CHEMICAL LABORATORY TECHNICIAN
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the daily operations of the Apparatus Stock Room, including safekeeping and inventory of all glassware and apparatuses and maintenance of small laboratory equipment like hot plate, pH meters, etc. and all lockers/drawers in the Chemistry laboratory rooms.
- Prepares all available glassware and apparatuses as requested for all laboratory classes or activity including research and thesis.
- Ensures that all available glassware and apparatuses are in good quality and replenished every quarter.
- Maintains cleanliness, orderliness, safety and security in the Apparatus Stock Room.
- Administers strict implementation of safety measures (including the wearing of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and environmental awareness policies among all handlers of laboratory apparatus/glassware.
- Inspects the Apparatus Stock Room in terms of adequate ventilation, proper illumination and complete first-aid and safety equipment.
Qualifications:
- College graduate in Chemistry or any Science-related Program.
- Licensed Chemical Technician.
- At least One (1) year experience on handling laboratory equipment/apparatus/tools and facilitating laboratory management with emphasis on inventory and document management.
SCHOOL NURSE
Responsibilities:
- The School Nurse is primarily responsible in promoting and ensuring health and safety amongst all members of the MHSS community. Serves as the health professional for the students, faculty members and staff.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse.
- With working knowledge in ISO.
- At least one (1) year relevant working experience.
DIGITAL SPECIALIST
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating and delivering digital marketing efforts to support the expansion and growth of the University. This role requires an in-depth knowledge of digital marketing to aid in brand building and awareness, leads generation, and enrollment growth.
- Plans, develops, executes, and manages digital marketing strategies to build brand awareness, drive website traffic, and generate leads.
- Develops engaging content for social media, highlighting the University, its programs, services, and achievements, to drive organic traffic to the University’s website and engagement on other digital properties.
Qualifications:
- College degree preferably in Marketing, Business, Mass Communications, or other related fields.
- Preferably with 2-3 years of relevant work experience with emphasis on web/social media marketing, strategic marketing, e-commerce, search engine optimization, customer relations management, digital advertising. Work experience in a digital agency is a plus.
ACCOUNTANT
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the preparation and analyses of monthly financial statements, analyses and reconciliation of General ledger accounts, and preparation of all the regulatory requirements of the subsidiaries. The accountant is also responsible for the payroll preparation for regular, probationary, casual and fixed-term status employees as well as the generation of appropriate payroll reports.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in BS Accountancy or any related course;
- Willing to do fieldwork
- At least two (2) years relevant working experience.
LIBRARIAN
Responsibilities
- • Responsible in the operation of all activities in the different units of the library
- • Orients and briefs all students and other patrons regarding all applicable library policies, including but not limited to the use of facilities, equipment, resources, and services.
- • Checks patron registration every quarter, circulation of material/s, book reserves/requests, and processing of overdue notices and bills.
- • Administers periodic users’ satisfaction survey within the Section and submits analysis of the same to the chief Librarian.
- • Reviews, reconciles, and submits statistical reports on the utilization of the different library facilities, resources, and services.
- • Checks and maintains the collection, organization of all materials assigned in the Section.
Qualifications:
- • Candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in Library Information Science
- • With PRC License
