Mapúa Student Advising System
Student Advising is envisioned to become an integral part of the undergraduate experience at Mapúa Institute of Technology. Faculty members, guidance counselors, and students will provide the advising support needed by all students of Mapúa. The nature of support ranges from academic to peer to personal.
The Mapúa Student Advising System has the following major objectives:
- Assist students in the development of their academic plans
- Increase the chances that the students can complete their program of study by helping them adjust to college life
The Mapúa Student Advising System is composed of three integral parts:
(1) Academic Advising;
(2) Peer Advising; and
(3) Personal Advising
