    Admissions

    Entrance examinations are administered as scheduled from August to April of each school year. Applicants shall be informed of the scheduled date and time of the examination upon their application at the Admissions Office.

    ADMISSION GUIDELINES FOR INCOMING FRESHMEN BATCH 2014

    APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    • General Requirements (for all applicants):

      • For applicants from schools in the Philippines or schools abroad under DepEd (graduation year is 2014):
        • 4th year HS Report Card
        • Certificate of Good Moral Character (with school year)
        • Certificate of Candidacy for Graduation
        • Additional requirements for foreign nationals:
          • Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR) or Special Study Permit (SSP)
          • Original and photocopy of Passport

      • For applicants from schools in the Philippines or schools abroad under DepEd, who graduated in the previous years (graduation year is 2013 and prior) and did not enroll in any college/university after graduation:
        • Original and photocopy of 4th year HS Report Card
        • Certification from the high school principal regarding the student’s F137-A. Contents of the certification are as follows:
          • The student’s Form 137-A is still in the school file
          • The student’s F137-A has not been forwarded to another college/university
        • c. Additional requirements for foreign nationals:
          • i. Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR) or Special Study Permit (SSP)
          • ii. Original and photocopy of Passport

      • For graduates of Non-Formal Education Accreditation and Equivalency or graduates of Alternative Learning System Accreditation and Equivalency:
        • Certificate of Rating (with passing marks in all subjects)
        • Photocopy of Diploma

      • For graduates of Associate Degree Programs:
        • Transcript of Records
          • No failing grade
          • Weighted average of at least 2.00 or its equivalent, excluding Religion, PE and NSTP
        • Honorable Dismissal/Certificate of Transfer Credential
        • Photocopy of NSO Birth Certificate
        • Photocopy of the Certificate of Good Moral Character

      • For Filipino applicants coming from schools abroad (except for Filipino schools under DepEd):
        • Authenticated Transcript of Records from Senior Year
        • Certificate of completion of secondary education (high school or its equivalent)
        • Certificate of Good Moral Character or Recommendation from the School Guidance Counselor or Principal
        • Birth certificate printed on National Statistics Office (NSO) paper
        • Original and photocopy of Filipino passport

    ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENTS:

    • General Requirements (for all enrollees):
      • Mapúa Examination Permit or Examination Result Letter or Notice of Results
      • Fully accomplished Student Data Sheet / Enrolment Form (Form downloadable at http://mapua.edu.ph/Admissions/Download/Freshmen%20Enrollment%20Form.pdf)
      • Original Birth Certificate printed on National Statistics Office (NSO) paper
      • 1 pc. ID picture (plain background), size 1½” x 1½”
      • One (1) long brown envelope to contain all of the above

    • Other Requirements:
      • For graduates from schools in the Philippines or schools abroad under DepEd (graduation year is 2014):
        • Original 4th year high school report card with the applicant's eligibility for admission to college duly signed by the school principal
        • Recently issued certificate of good moral character from the high school (with school seal)
        • Additional requirements for foreign nationals:
          • Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR) or Special Study Permit (SSP)
          • Original and photocopy of Passport

      • For graduates from schools in the Philippines or schools abroad under DepEd, who graduated in the previous years (graduation year is 2013 and prior) and did not enroll in any college/university after graduation:

    Additional Requirements:

    • For enrollees beginning 2nd or 3rd term: Official Results of Basic Medical Laboratory Work-up (CBC, Urinalysis, Chest X-Ray: PA View) from any major hospitals.
    • For Valedictorians and Salutatorians (of duly accredited Philippine high schools with at least 60 graduating students): a certification of honors indicating the total number of graduates signed by the high school principal (with school seal).
